Artisan Hot-Process Oat Milk Soap Making Workshop! 🧼✨ Join Claudia from Jurassic Soap Co. at Lilac Hedge Farm for an interactive evening of hands-on soap making! Learn the fundamental art and science of hot-process soap making - the original, old school way of making soap. You'll master safely mixing lye, blending skin-nourishing oils, benefits of different milks, and adding custom fragrances and colorants to formulate your very own custom batch of soap bars. Whether you want to upgrade your self-care routine, learn a rewarding creative craft, or enjoy a fun night out on the farm, this workshop has you covered. You will leave with one pound of soap and two soaps in seasonal molds for you to unmold at home! Note: Safety equipment (aprons, goggles and gloves) will be provided. Soap base cannot be customized. Oat milk contains whole wheat oats (processed in a facility with gluten and wheat). Main oils and butters in our soap base: Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Canola Oil, Castor Oil, Mango Butter, Kokum or Sal Butter, Shea Butter.
Workshop Policies
By participating in any Jurassic Soap Co. workshop, class, or event, you agree to the following business and safety guidelines: 1. Media & Photo Release Policy Consent & Usage: You grant Jurassic Soap Co. the right to take photos and videos of you and your creations during workshops. You authorize us to use these materials for marketing and promotion (website, social media, newsletters, print). Ownership: These materials are the sole property of Jurassic Soap Co., and no financial compensation will be provided. Privacy Opt-Out: If you or a minor in your care prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please notify the instructor before class starts. We will ensure any images containing you are deleted and not published. 2. What We Offer: Our Workshop Experience Every workshop booking includes: Raw Materials: High-quality products, skin-safe colors, molds/containers, and skin-safe fragrances. Safety Gear: Necessary protective equipment, including aprons, gloves, and eyewear (where applicable). Expert Instruction: Step-by-step guidance through the science, mixing, melting, and design techniques of product making. Your Creations: Your custom, packaged products to take home, plus a recipe/instruction card. 3. Workshop Health & Safety Rules Age Limits: Soap workshops are for ages 12+. Sugar scrub and lotion workshops are for ages 8+. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required for soap making. We highly recommend comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting messy. 4. Cancellations, Late Arrivals, & Refunds Participant Cancellation: 48+ hours' notice is required for a full refund or reschedule. Cancellations under 48 hours are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Late Arrivals: Workshops start promptly. Arriving more than 15 minutes late misses vital safety briefings and may result in forfeiture of your slot without a refund. Company Cancellation: If we must cancel due to weather, illness, or low enrollment, you will receive a 100% refund or a priority transfer to a future date.
